INCLUDE explores, develops and implements interventions for a more inclusive community!
Include is a foundation which promotes cooperation between teachers, special educators, mental health specialists, parents and community to improve the quality of life of children with special educational needs, language / cultural differences and disabilities in school and society.

A. INTRODUCTION
The Interdisciplinary Network of Special and Intercultural Education, «INCLUDE » is a scientific interdisciplinary educational centre that was founded in 2011 to promote inclusive policy for children with special needs and different cultural background, in accordance with the principles of the UN Conventions against Discrimination in Education and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The ultimate goals of INCLUDE network are i) to improve the quality of the life of children and families facing the risk of exclusion from the educational system as a result of disabilities and xenophobia, ii) to promote changes in social attitudes and perceptions towards diversity, and iii) to contribute actively and effectively to the creation of a truly "school for all" .
The members of “INCLUDE” are scientists from different fields (education, special education, psychology, sociology, science, artificial intelligent, media, robotics, arts etc) cooperating towards foundation’s goals. The organization is located in a building granted by the Municipality of Thessaloniki and collaborates with local and international social, educational or academic organizations and research institutions. The building has 4 rooms equipped with the most modern educational instruments for children according to UDL and future class, and also has a garden and playground. Based on the extensive scientific work from its academic members, Include  was chosen by Scientix as one of the 30 organizations in Europe specialized in special education and to promote education for all in science (STEM education).
INCLUDE views inclusive policy according to the principles of holistic approach. According to this approach each system (social, physical, linguistic, chemical etc) is a set of interacting or interdependent components that work as a whole. At the heart of the action of Include are the inclusive interventions that simultaneously are made in several areas: a) support, empowerment and counseling of families with children with special educational needs, b) supporting and strengthening their educators, c) informing and sensitizing the community on issues of acceptance and equal participation of children with special educational needs and disabilities in community life and, d) improve special education needs (SEN) and typical children interactions through playing games with special emphasis in robotics.

The Interdisciplinary Network of Special Intercultural Education ,
INCLUDE through action research brings together people and cultures, highlighting the points that give priority to the values of solidarity and selfless giving !!

Καθολική Σχεδίαση για τη Μάθηση * Universal Design for Learning

"Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an educational framework to guide development of flexible learning environments to accommodate individual learning differences. UDL seeks to increase access to learning by reducing physical, cognitive, intellectual and organisational barriers. This site (developed under the UDLnet project) aims to provide a comprehensive Inventory of UDL Best Practices to benefit the interesting users in the field (educationalists, teachers, professors, practitioners, etc.). We point out that UDL is not something completely new for the learning providers, as in many cases they apply UDL unconsciously. Contributors are invited to record their Best Practices here based on their UDL experience and practice. " (πηγή http://udlnet.di.uoa.gr/) (Ο Καθολικός Σχεδιασμός για τη Μάθηση (ΚΣΜ) είναι ένα εκπαιδευτικό πλαίσιο αρχών για την ανάπτυξη ευέλικτων μαθησιακών περιβαλλόντων που ανταποκρίνονται στις ατομικές διαφορές μάθησης.
